Citroën Berlingo, this is the small one
Car-sized to drive, easy to park and cheap to run. The Berlingo is ideal for couriers, mobile trades and anyone doing lots of drops in town/cities. There is enough room for tools and smaller loads, but not for anything long or bulky. If your work is light, frequent and urban, this is the one.
Citroën Dispatch, the medium-sized one
The all-rounder and it’s the one most trades end up in. Big enough to be genuinely useful, small enough to still be easy to live with and available in more than one length so you can match the load space to your work. It suits electricians, plumbers, carpenters and general fit-out contractors. So if you want one van that does most things well, this is a good start.
Citroën Relay, the large one
Sometimes called the ‘workhorse’ as it has the most load space and payload of the three. You can have it as a panel van or as the base for a Luton, dropside or tipper. It suits removals, delivery and anyone shifting big or heavy loads. If volume and payload matter more to you than easy parking, the Relay is the pick.
How to decide
Start by calculating your biggest and heaviest regular load, then choose the smallest van that carries it comfortably. Think about it this way: if you have a job that requires you to weave through or park in a town or city all day, whether a Berlingo that you can slot into a normal parking space will save you far more time and fuel than a load area you would rarely fill. If you have a job that is similar to a kitchen fitter and requires you to transport or carry long units, the Relay's length earns its keep.
Whichever size fits, Vangoo shows you the condition upfront on every Citroën van we list, so you can buy with confidence.
