Nothing is set until you agree

We use Google Analytics to understand how our sites are used — which pages people visit, and how they get there. No analytics cookie is written, and the Google tag is not loaded at all, until you press Accept. If you press Reject, nothing is loaded and any analytics cookies already on your device are deleted.

The analytics cookies

If you accept, Google Analytics sets:

These two cookies tell us how the site is used. They are not used to advertise to you, and we do not sell or share the data they produce. If you have visited before, you may also still have _gid or _gat cookies from older versions of Google Analytics. We delete these whenever you refuse or withdraw consent.

The cookie that remembers your choice

This one is strictly necessary and is set whichever way you answer: it is how we remember not to ask you again (for 6 months), and how we honour a refusal. It holds nothing that identifies you.

It is set for .vangoo.co.uk, which means it covers both this site and the Vangoo app at app.vangoo.co.uk.

One choice covers both sites

Vangoo runs on two addresses — vangoo.co.uk for our main site and app.vangoo.co.uk for the marketplace itself. Your answer applies to both, so you are only asked once, whichever one you arrive at first.

Changing your mind

Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, on either site, to see the choice again. You can switch either way as often as you like. Choosing Reject deletes the analytics cookies already on your device.

You can also delete cookies through your browser's own settings. If you clear vangoo_consent, we will ask you again on your next visit.
